FAQ

We hope these FAQs are helpful but please feel free to contact us with further questions.

Q: Is there somewhere nearby to eat?

Each tent has a list of local places to eat and drink. The nearest pub is a 30 minute walk across our fields or a three minute drive. For your convenience, a local dairy farm has an authentic Thai Restaurant and takeaway open Wednesday to Saturday. The menu is available online chimdoo.co.uk and they will deliver to your tent ready for your arrival. There is a local fish and chip van that visits all the local villages, and during the summer visits the campsite around 8pm on a Friday night.

Q: What do you do to help the environment?

We are members of Green Tourism (www.green-tourism.com)

To calculate your travel carbon footprint use the following website:

We encourage walkers and cyclists, and provide a shed for your bike, walking boots and coats. There is water on hand for cleaning bikes and boots from a water butt..

We have details of local walks and cycle routes available and a puncture kit if required.

We regret, we do not allow check ins after 10pm unless in exceptional circumstances. Earlier check ins may be possible, please contact us directly nearer the time to enquire if possible.
